The short version

  • This site currently shows no ads and sets no cookies.
  • We collect very little: the email you choose to send us and basic, cookie-free visit statistics.
  • We do not sell your information. If we ever add ads, this page will be updated first.

Who runs this site

Kitchen Table Fix is written and run by Creig Boyd Jr., a maintenance technician in Massachusetts, USA. Questions about privacy: hello@primefix.vip.

What we collect

Email you send us. If you email hello@primefix.vip, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write. We use it to reply to you and keep it as long as it is useful for that. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Visit statistics. We measure visits with our own privacy-friendly analytics tool, run on our own hosting rather than by a third party. For each page view it records the page, the website you came from (the website name only), your device type, browser, operating system, screen size and language, how long the page was in view, whether you tapped a phone number, email link or outgoing link, and an approximate location (country, state and town) worked out on our server and kept only at that level. Your IP address is used for a moment to work out that location and is not stored. It uses no cookies, ignores visitors who send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, and raw records are deleted automatically after about 13 months.

Search. When you search the guides, the matching happens in your browser. We also record the words you searched for (just the words, nothing that identifies you) when you settle on a search, so we can tell which guides to write next.

Our hosting company's logs. Like every website, this one is hosted by a company (Namecheap, Inc.) whose servers keep standard logs of requests, such as IP address, time and page requested, for security and troubleshooting. We do not control how long they keep them.

Advertising

This site currently shows no advertising, and no advertising companies receive any information from it.

Some guides link to PrimeFix Solutions, a business owned by Creig Boyd Jr.. When you click one of those links, the address includes a short tag saying which guide you came from (for example utm_campaign=...), and your browser tells PrimeFix Solutions which site referred you. That lets the business see which guides are useful. Nothing else about you is passed along. PrimeFix Solutions's own privacy policy applies once you are there.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device.
